1S-8S Single 3.7V Lithium Battery Capacity Indicator Module

The 1S-8S Battery Capacity Indicator Module is a compact electronic display module designed to visually indicate the charge level (state of battery voltage) of lithium-ion or lithium-polymer battery packs ranging from 1 to 8 cells in series (1S–8S). It uses a simple LED bar indicator to show the approximate remaining charge, making it useful for a wide range of applications such as DIY battery packs, RC hobby electronics, e-bikes, power stations, and portable devices.

• Supports 1S to 8S batteries: suitable for single to eight-cell Li-ion / Li-Po packs (~3.7 V to ~33.6 V total).

• LED bar display: typically a 4-segment visual indicator showing relative charge level.

• Operating voltage: approximately 3 V – 34 V DC to cover 1S–8S ranges.

• Easy to connect: just connect the + (positive) and – (negative) terminals to your battery or battery pack.

 How It Works

The module senses the total pack voltage and lights different numbers of LEDs based on thresholds corresponding to common Li-ion cell voltage levels:

• 1 LED on: battery voltage > N × ~3.3 V

• 2 LEDs on: battery voltage > N × ~3.5 V

• 3 LEDs on: battery voltage > N × ~3.7 V

• 4 LEDs on: battery voltage > N × ~3.9 V

• No LEDs: voltage < N × ~3.3 V — indicates low battery.
