This motor driver shield, based on the classic L293D chip, is your ideal choice for projects that require control of multiple motors. It can simultaneously control up to 4 bidirectional DC motors, 2 stepper motors (unipolar or bipolar), or 2 servo motors, making it extremely versatile for robotics, RC models, and automation. Each of the four H-bridges can supply up to 600mA continuous current (1.2A peak) and operates with a wide motor voltage range – from 4.5V to 36V. The shield includes convenient features such as separate terminals for logic and motor power supplies, protecting your Arduino board, as well as a manual reset button. It easily mounts on Arduino UNO and Mega2560. Whether you're building a four-wheeled robot, a coordinate system, or an automated manipulator, this shield offers reliability and power in one compact package.
